Playback Now captures and delivers conference content. For over 3 decades they have been producing, marketing and delivering this content to the public. They wanted to move away from CD and DVD delivery however, which is when they called us.
Using the original Magento website we designed and built for them, they were able to make this transition to streaming and download delivery. Further updates enabled multi-site to offer custom themes, co-branding and sponsorship functionality. As more need arrived, we have added features such as live streaming and Continuing Medical Education products; all delivered with a custom responsive design that supports iPhones and android along with the traditional desktop. All of this is accomplished with a heavy dose of Amazon Web Services to support scalability and high availability.
Conferences have changed dramatically over the last 10 years with the digital boom. Whatever comes next, Playback Now can rest assured that they are well positioned to adapt and succeed!
Emory University Libraries
For the Emory University Library system holdings of over 3 million volumes in nine libraries and nearly a million visitors in 2008 is not enough. The library works tirelessly to be a model for libraries of the future by integrating digital, print, and multi-media resources all in the service of courageous inquiry.
We re-designed and implemented 4 websites for the library system to bring a new consistency, usability and identity-focus that speaks clearly to this vision. Built using Drupal, the new sites wrap in powerful content management with the flexibility to grow to meet the changing needs of the future.
